Maryeileen N. Appio
Kirk & Nice, Inc. Manager

Maryeileen has been with Kirk & Nice since 1994 and is currently the manager of the Plymouth Meeting facility. She received a B.A. degree in sociology from California University of PA and a diploma from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She is a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, where she is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Maryeileen is also a licensed insurance producer in PA.

Terri Bell
Kirk & Nice, Inc. Administrator

Terri joined the Kirk & Nice team in 2001. She grew up in the Jenkintown-Glenside area and is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt. As the Administrator for the funeral home, Terri takes pride in helping families in their time of need. She has been involved with a variety of charitable events such as the Breast Cancer 3-Day, Epilepsy Foundation Summer Stroll, and City of Hope Cancer/HIV research.

Mike Bell
George Washington Memorial Park, Family Service Counselor

Mike started at George Washington memorial Park as a Community Service Counselor in July 2012 and recently transitioned into Family Services. A graduate of Hillsdale College, he strives to give compassion and exceptional service. Mike is personally dedicated to providing the upmost care and attention to each cherished client family he meets.

Valerie Blackmon
George Washington Memorial, Family Service and Preplanning Specialist

Helping people has been a life-long passion of Valerie, so it’s no surprise that Valerie enjoys helping families at George Washington Memorial Park. Whether it’s helping with preplanning, or serving at the time of need, Valerie’s goal is to help make the difficult decisions for your family as easily and painlessly as possible.

Stuart Gaev
George Washington Memorial Park, Family Service and Preplanning Specialist

Stuart started with George Washington Memorial Park as a Family Service Counselor in 2005. A graduate of St. Joseph College he strives to provide exceptional service to all families. He and his family live in Bryn Mawr.

Paul Kenny
Manager of Community and Family Services

Paul Kenny is the Manager of Community and Family Services at George Washington Memorial Park. He started his career as a Family Service Specialist at Hillside Cemetery and is committed to serving the families of George Washington Memorial with the utmost care and respect.

James Kimenour
George Washington Memorial, Family Service and Preplanning Specialist

James has been assisting families for several years now and brings his experience to the families of George Washington Memorial. James lives in Fox Chase and attended East Stroudsburg University. James enjoys spending time with his grandson Joey and granddaughter Juliana, along with fishing and playing golf.

Edwin D. MacFarland
Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel Funeral Director

Ed is a graduate of the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1972 joining Kirk & Nice in 1998. Ed is very involved with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and other horticultural groups in the area. He served in the US Army and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Ed resides with his family in Glenside, PA.

Charles Roman
Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel Supervisor, Manager, Funeral Director

Charles A. Roman has been with Kirk and Nice since 1997 and is the current manager of the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel in Feasterville. He has a degree in business management and is a graduate of the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City. Charlie is active in numerous community organizations. He and his family live in the Fox Chase Burholme section of Philadelphia.
