Annual Dove Tree Memorial Service

On Saturday, December 10, 2011, Kirk & Nice and George Washington Memorial Park hosted their annual Dove Tree Memorial Service to honor the families that they have served over the past year.

This special memorial service served as a tribute to loved ones recently lost and was made even more special by the beautiful music and vocals of Gaudeamus.

Performing the service was Monsignor Charles Vance of St. Philip Neri R.C. Church and Pastor Robert Ettinger of Cold Point Baptist Church.  After the service, guests were invited back to the funeral home where they could drop off a toy for the local 'Toys for Tots' collection, and fill out a dove ornament to hang on the Memorial Dove Tree. Each family was presented with a poinsettia plant to take home.

The Memorial Dove Tree will be available in the lobby of Kirk & Nice Funeral Home until December 31st.
